Volunteer Requirements
The Archdiocese of Miami requires all school and church volunteers to be fingerprinted and attend a Virtus training called “Protecting God’s Children” to ensure the safety of all our children.
This requirement applies when volunteering time at school before, during and after school hours, while on school grounds or on school sponsored activities. These include:
- helping at the car line
- helping during lunch
- helping during shows, bookfair, etc.
Virtus
Every family MUST complete a Virtus (Protecting God’s Children) training (Approximately 4 hour session). Register online at www.virtus.org. After finishing the session, please bring the certificate of completion to the school office.
